Mikhail Klarin

Mikhail is an executive coach and organizational consultant, and a recognized opinion leader in business/corporate coaching industry. According to a recent national HR survey, Mikhail is ranked in top five business team builders of Russia in the decade of 2004-2014. His experience includes positions of a Partner in a Swiss-Russian JV, Director for consulting of a training company, Academic Director of Learning Center for Social Projects, and serving on Board in an international NGO. Currently he is an Independent Director in two Corporate Boards. Mikhail’s coaching focus is on supporting Leaders (individuals and/or groups) and Executive Teams to meet executive challenges including situations of transition (corporate and/or personal). He is sensitive to both personality-based and X-cultural factors influencing leaders’ life and performance. Consulting and coaching experience includes aligning strategic communication between/within owners’ group, boardroom, and management teams, facilitating strategic planning and alignment sessions for executive teams, M&As, innovative change programs, integration of executive teams, and team-building, strategic business projects, and development of corporate culture. Based on his experience he speaks the language of shareholders and business leaders. Mikhail is aware of leaders’ context and concerns, including executive, C-suite/Board levels, and helps executive teams develop alignment for business success. Mikhail is trained in a variety of psychological, personal and management development tools. MA in physics, PhD and post-PhD degrees in education, has done post-graduate programs in strategic management and corporate governance in Schulich School of Business at York University (Toronto, Canada), certified programs in coaching at Nova Terra Coach Training And Corporate Development, the Wisloch Institute for Systemic Solutions / European Psychotherapeutic Association, and has had further training and experience as an executive coach at the Centre for Creative Leadership. Mikhail explores the Client’s situation using blend of methodologies including systemic approach, feedback coaching, images and metaphors, positioning in space, constellation method, clean language, Shadow Work®, and… sense of humor. His coaching is based on balancing ‘whole person’ approach with corporate productivity focus. His methods provoke productive insights, helps reshape relationships with key stakeholders, within teams, develop genuine priorities, balanced decisions for consistent action.
